The Chelan Basin Conservancy (CBC) is a volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the beauty and invaluable resources of the Chelan Basin. CBC’s efforts rely on the dedication of willing volunteers who donate time, skill, and effort to help make a difference.

We are eager to continue to grow the organization and expand its outreach and abilities to bring awareness of environmental issues that impact Lake Chelan and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for volunteers to donate time and expertise to assist us in meeting our mission.

Join the Board
Work as a team to plan and facilitate activities as well as provide oversight of the organization and its activities.

Participate in Events & Public Outreach
Support CBC efforts to increase awareness, provide public comments, and offer important public education at events such as local City Council meetings, Earth Day Fair, Farmers’ Markets etc.

Assist with Social Media Outreach
We are looking for people with social media skills to help us better monitor and increase CBC’s exposure and outreach on platforms such as Facebook, to ensure the public is aware of important community meetings, public comment periods, and related events and activities.

Help Expand Fundraising Efforts
Identify opportunities and activities that will generate financial support for key projects and activities.
